These Christmas coasters are super fast and easy to make, even if you’re a beginner at crocheting. You can make them with basically any yarn, but I’ve listed the exact yarn I used in case you’d like to make a replica.
If you’re not really into crocheting, you can find these Christmas coasters for sale in my Etsy shop.
- 97% Acrylic I Love This Yarn! Metallic Christmas yarn (medium weight)
- 5.5 mm crochet hook
- Yarn needle (for weaving in ends)
ch = chain
slst = slip stitch
tr = treble
Ch 4, join with slst to first ch to form a ring.
Round 1: Ch 3, work 12 tr into ring. Join with slst. (12)
Round 2: Ch 3, work 3 tr into each tr around. Join with slst. (36)
Fasten off and weave in all ends.
And now you have a cute little Christmas coaster! Super easy right? These only take about ten minutes each to make. And the cool thing is that this pattern works for literally any holiday or season, not just Christmas! Experiment with different types, weights, and colors of yarn to get different looks. Just be sure to modify the hook size for the yarn!
